We are seeking an academic leader to join a vibrant team of academics in the Liverpool Business School (LBS). LBS was granted faculty status within the institution in 2017 and you will play a key role in providing research leadership in the new faculty. You will have an international profile in the area of operations management, built on excellence in research, teaching and enterprise, as evidenced through high-quality publications, income generation, impact, publications, networking and doctoral supervisions/examinations.

As well as developing and leading world-class research in operations management, you will actively contribute to enhancing the research profile of Liverpool Business School, through mentoring and facilitating the activity of other researchers in LBS with a view to building a strong research culture. You will also provide strategic leadership to our DBA programme and be able to make a contribution to the delivery of our executive education offerings, such as the MBA. We are looking for a team player that works well in a collegiate community of staff and postgraduate research students.

Whilst the faculty is open to applications from across the whole spectrum of the operations management discipline there is a strong preference for applicants who can provide thought leadership in relation to the topic of sustainability in an operations context.

Please note all of our vacancies will be closed to applications at midnight on the advertised closing date, unless otherwise stated.
