Position Summary:

The Postdoctoral Researcher will undertake laboratory-based research in the Centre for Marine Bioproducts Development in the area of cancer immunology and preventive drug discovery to achieve the aims of a University-industrial cooperation project. In working with the Chief Investigators, the position will contribute to design and execution of experiments, implementation of research assays and data analysis, and preparation of publication and reports within the scope of the projects.

The Researcher will actively perform hands-on research and support reporting of new research findings through generation of high-quality publications and conference presentations. In addition, the position will contribute to the attraction of externally funded grants and assist in the supervision and training of research higher degree students.

Please note: Pursuant to the Children’s Protection Act 1993 (SA) this position has been deemed prescribed. It is an inherent requirement of the position that the successful candidate maintains a current Child Related Employment Screening which is satisfactory to the University.
