We are seeking to appoint an HCI Lab Tutor to work as part of a small team to deliver a programme of Human Computer Interaction (HCI) modules for undergraduate, postgraduate and Degree Apprenticeship degrees in computer science.

The successful applicant will join the Human Computer Interaction (HCI) team within the Computer Science subject group at Aston – an expanding and collegiate team of computer scientists who deliver distinctive programmes at Undergraduate and Masters levels that achieve some of the highest employability rates for CS graduates in the UK.

You will combine expertise in areas of user interface design, interaction design, usability evaluation and other aspects of HCI with strong communication skills, experience of delivering teaching to small groups and the ability to convey your knowledge of HCI. You will have a good undergraduate degree in a related subject such as computer science, product design, or psychology with a substantial focus on HCI or a Master’s degree in HCI. A formal teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.
