The Schools of Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Engineering Maths (SCEEM) and Civil, Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering (CAME) are seeking Student Administration Managers (one each) to lead their Student Administration teams. These are exciting leadership positions in busy and friendly student support teams.
The position in SCEEM is on an open-ended basis
The position in CAME is for a 12-month secondment / fixed term
You will have experience of working in a relevant office environment, with student administration experience. You will have excellent customer care skills and be passionate about providing a high level of support to students. You will have the ability to work in partnership with academic colleagues and professional services staff from a range of divisions and schools and from different backgrounds and cultures. You will have good organisational and administrative skills, be efficient and adaptable and used to working in a busy environment as well as having the ability to prioritise effectively and work to deadlines with experience of managing a team.
You will be experienced in using a range of student administration systems and be able to adapt to new systems and processes quickly.
You will have the skills to analyse data, generate credible recommendations from this data and convince senior managers to adopt changes.
The SAM will also lead on improvements to the student experience, embedding the advancement of equality, diversity and inclusion throughout our school.
