University of Michigan – Department of Mathematics
The University of Michigan’s Department of Mathematics is initiating a search for an appointment in algebra, analysis, or related fields at the tenure-track assistant, associate, or professor level. This will be a university-year appointment beginning September 1, 2019. All ranks are encouraged to apply.
Candidates should hold a PhD in Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, or a related field (e.g. Statistics); have extraordinary credentials in algebra, analysis, financial mathematics, or related fields; and show outstanding promise and/or accomplishments in both research and teaching.
Salaries are competitive and are based on credentials.
This position is posted as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor /Professor. The rank of the selected candidate will depend upon candidate's qualifications.
