  • Salary range: $85,680 - $114,967 per annum (plus super)

About the Job 

You will play a key statistician role and undertake a range of research-related activities for the Enhancing Joint Replacement Outcomes project, an Australian Orthopaedic Association National Joint Replacement Registry/National data linkage project funded by the National Health and Research Council (NHMRC). 

Skills and Experience 

With a post graduate qualification (level ARAS) or a PhD (level BRF) in a mathematics or statistics, you will bring experience working in a health-related environment with complex survival analyses and large-scale observational databases. Your programming experience using statistical software programs such as SAS, STATA or R (2 years minimum), together with an understanding of data management principles for large scale clinical research and probability and statistics theory will be essential. If you can provide expert statistical advice, analysis and reporting for complex research projects, write statistical sections for research papers and conference presentations and have the ability to build relationships in a multidisciplinary team, apply now!
