Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Department of Mechanical Engineering Sciences

You will provide technical support and undertake experimental procedures in the Mechanical Testing laboratories in order to support research activities in experimental engineering as well as undergraduate and post graduate laboratory classes and projects. The post holder will manage the Concrete and Mechanical Testing laboratories under the supervision of the Mechanical testing Manager and assist in setting up and running laboratory tests.

You will have good communication and IT skills. A qualification in Mechanical Engineering, or similar discipline, plus some relevant work experience, or learning gained through work experience (including short courses and other formal training) is essential.
