The post holder will be responsible for the provision of comprehensive administrative support to the team managing the Post Award Research Finance function in the University, including supporting the various financial databases, spreadsheets, web pages and grant/contract review information, loading & amending project budgets and processing the university’s monthly overhead / accrual postings.
The post holder will need to adopt a flexible and proactive approach to deal with the varying demands and requirements of the team and their customers. Whilst working within a clearly defined area of work the post holder will be expected to demonstrate initiative in the arrangement of their immediate work priorities, including successfully managing any conflicting demands, possessing an awareness of the options available and being able to make effective and appropriate decisions in order to meet agreed deadlines.
