Based on University Park, you will be responsible for the running of multiple bars within the student Halls of Residence. You will be required to serve a wide range of food and beverages including a variety of cocktails, train and motivate staff and be responsible for the ordering and monitoring of both food and drink stock ensuring that relevant paperwork is completed as per departmental procedure. Other duties will include cashing up, banking and reconciliation of takings. You will also work with the team to develop ideas for service improvement and will promote excellent customer service at all times.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience of managing staff gained within a similar environment, have excellent planning and organisational skills and have experience of training and developing staff. Ideally you will also have experience of working in a food service environment and be a personal licence holder. Due to the frequency with which the post holder will transfer stock between units a full current driving licence is essential for this role unless disability precludes this

Hours of work are 35 per week to be worked 5 days out of 7 to be arranged and will include a variety of days, late evenings and weekends. Flexibility will be required.
