Job description

Coventry University is looking for a motivated and experienced person to join the Group Quality Unit as Principal Registry Officer.

This is an interesting and diverse role with a significant degree of autonomy, working closely within a Faculty providing advice and support on academic quality and enhancement issues relating to course development. This will also include regular short trips within the UK and overseas in order to provide similar support to the University Group's large portfolio of collaborative partnerships. In addition you will help to shape policy and processes to achieve effective and efficient operational requirements that support the quality and standards of the University's awards.

You will be an excellent communicator and planner, who is highly motivated. Using your knowledge and experience you will be able to assimilate large amounts of information, analyse and make reliable judgements about complex arrangements, sometimes against tight deadlines and multiple demanding priorities.

This is a senior post and as a consequence you will be expected to meet both the responsibilities and capabilities in all areas of activity within this post, showing yourself to be immediately effective in the role to deal with ongoing Registry requirements. You will have significant experience in a similar administrative role, preferably in a higher education institution.  You will enjoy the challenge of working under pressure and using your own initiative, as well as working flexibly to meet the needs of the unit. You will be joining an established and dedicated team and will have excellent team working skills.
