Job description

Coventry University is seeking to recruit a Professor in Transport Design, based at the National Transport Design Centre (ntdc) within our Institute for Future Transport & Cities. Having an international reputation and profile for research within their field, the successful applicant will provide academic leadership, management of research and a contribution to the development of strategic direction, in Transport Design and related subjects within the ntdc and wider University. 
The ntdc is a recently established centre, operating across the major transport modalities of automotive, aircraft, rail and marine, researching the factors that will influence the design of future vehicles and infrastructure, applying and developing the design methodologies, tools and technologies used in the design process, and developing post-graduate education to support implementation in industry.
