This is an exciting time for Aston University’s research and business engagement activity. The University has just launched its new Research Strategy, which will help us to forge a distinctive path to deliver for our beneficiaries and make a real difference to our communities and stakeholders. Aston is focusing on four key elements: impact, collaboration, excellence and sustainability. Similarly, a new Business Engagement Strategy is currently being created in order to align the business activity across the University.

This exciting role reports in to the centralised Marketing team, but sits within the Research and Knowledge Exchange team.

The Marketing Manager (Research & Business Engagement) will raise the profile of Aston University to a range of stakeholders and audiences particularly the business community, key influencers and research audiences, and the Region & Society more broadly, through targeted marketing communications, press, activities and events.

Activities within the role include:

To take on this role and join the team you should be a graduate in English, Marketing, Media and Communications or a related subject, or with equivalent experience, and have experience of working in similar marketing role. You must also have experience of producing a variety of marketing materials across a range of digital and social media including creating and updating web pages, as well as experience of events management.
