The Department of Rural Health is seeking evidence, evaluation and scholarship surrounding its nursing and allied health rural student placement program. The aim of this position is to work with the Going Rural Health team who facilitate and coordinate these placements to evaluate their programs. The incumbent will support the Going Rural Health team with key evidence on the relevant topics and work with staff to evaluate their programs from participatory research and action research approaches. This will involve some research training as well as leading research with the team to evaluate their own programs. The incumbent will bring innovative ideas and scholarship to the area of rural health workforce to develop research to increase local understanding.
