The School of Natural Sciences and Psychology is seeking to appoint an inspirational Professor with an established reputation for conducting research of leading international quality in Evolutionary Anthropology.

You will be expected to take a lead role in developing the Anthropology REF2021 submission, while driving forward the School’s research excellence in the field. You will have excellent leadership and management skills, and exceptional communication skills. You will also contribute to a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including BSc Forensic Anthropology, MSc Bioarchaeology, and MSc Forensic Anthropology.

Applications are particularly welcomed from candidates with a specialism in hominin functional morphology and physiology from an evolutionary perspective. This appointment is part of a strategic investment in the research and teaching of Anthropology in the School.
