The U-Flyte management team now invites applications for a Software Developer to join this exciting new aerial robotics research initiative.
The Software Developers/Data Scientists will work with the Principal Investigator (PI), Funded Investigators (FIs), Research Team, Industry Partners and Advisory Committee to ensure that the core research work-packages revolving around U-space modelling, UTM operations and end-use case applications are delivered as set out in the U-Flyte work-plan. An interest in applying/translating fundamental mathematical/statistical modelling methodologies to help solve challenges using machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), and reinforcement learning (RL) frameworks will be a requirement. The work will involve aspects of machine vision, multi-agent systems, optimization and real-world simulation.
Programmer 1 Salary Scale: €48,542 - €52,428 per annum (3 points)
Appointment will be made in accordance with the Department of Finance pay guidelines.
*New entrants to the public sector will be appointed on the first point of the above scale.
