Exciting Senior Academic Opportunities in Podiatry

QUT is an ambitious university, focused on providing an outstanding ‘real-world’ education to nearly 50,000 students. One of the nation’s fastest growing research universities, QUT achieves excellence through world-class research by delivering solutions to the challenges of today and into the future.

The Faculty of Health at QUT is one of the largest faculties with seven schools and a vision to “enable people and communities to create a healthy future for the real world.” The School of Clinical Sciences is one of these schools and includes the disciplines of pharmacy, podiatry, paramedicine and medical radiation sciences.

The School is seeking to appoint an outstanding individual to a senior academic appointment within the Podiatry discipline. You will have podiatric clinical and teaching experience with a strong research track record and a proven ability to engage with industry partners.

In this role, you will provide strong leadership and support within a team of academics. This will include undertaking high impact research, facilitating excellence in undergraduate teaching and supervision of research students while providing authentic ‘real world” learning and assessment. You will also engage with industry partners and professional associations at a national and international level.

If you are a leader who engenders collaboration with a proven research track record and the ability to embed innovative approaches to learning and teaching and curriculum design, then this role could be your next career step.
