About the role
This Lecturer in Sociology will contribute to the development and delivery of the Bachelor of Social Welfare degree.
This position is a designated Early Career Development Fellowship offered for a fixed term period of three years. To be eligible for appointment, you must have been awarded a PhD or made satisfactory progress towards completion of a PhD. As well, you must have performed casual teaching work for an Australian University in, and for the majority of, three teaching sessions over the preceding two years.
This position is only open to employees of Australian Universities who are employed on a current casual contract at the date of publication of this advertisement. You will hold, or demonstrate significant progress towards, a PhD in a relevant field.
You will be a passionate and engaged academic with experience teaching within a university environment and demonstrated success in the use of contemporary educational technologies in blended and online environments.
For a teaching and research appointment you will have an emerging research portfolio.
