We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic research-led individual who will make a significant contribution to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in construction programmes, in particular, our new joint programme with Northeast Forestry University in China. Initially teaching will be in the related areas of BIM for construction, construction quantification and costing, construction contract management & administration, building Information and digital construction.

Appointees will be expected and encouraged to develop research programmes complementary to the School’s existing work in this area, which currently include, but are not restricted to: the use of building information modelling/management, cost management and construction management.

A PhD in a related subject is essential, along with experience of publishing research outcomes. Relevant industrial experience and membership of RICS or CIOB would be advantageous.
