Reporting to the Principle Employee Relations Consultant you will partner with the HR Business Partners to review existing industrial arrangements and practices across the organisation. Your responsibilities will include end to end case management, positively contributing to strategic projects, developing and implementing ER and HR policies and procedures as well as maintaining accurate information on centralised records.

Your in-depth understanding of relevant employment legislation, the Enterprise Bargaining process and education sector workplace requirements will aid your ability to provide accurate and comprehensive advice on complex ER matters. You will prepare detailed written advice, including supporting documentation and reports on complex workplace and employment issues as well as maintaining knowledge of conditions of employment. 

A postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (or progress towards) with relevant experience or an equivalent combination of experience and/or training and education will strengthen your application. You will be a competent professional with an understanding of legal and regulatory requirements, experience in handling employment matters and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships internally and externally. Experience in the Education Sector and with implementation of Enterprise Agreements will be advantageous.
