The Role and Your Responsibilities

The Associate Professor will provide leadership and foster excellence in teaching and research efforts of the School, within the University, and with the community, professional, commercial and industrial sectors. More specifically, the Associate Professor is responsible for providing original, innovative and distinguished contributions to the School's Early Childhood Education programs for maintaining and advancing their scholarly, research and/or professional capabilities relevant to this discipline at a national and international level.

The Senior Lecturer will contribute to the teaching and research efforts of the School. The role will work to make a significant contribution to the development, accreditation and delivery of the Early Childhood Education Program and to be actively involved in research, consulting and other professional activities associated with the Early Childhood Education Program.

Skills & Experience Required

As the successful candidate for the role of Associate Professor, you will demonstrate ability to manage award program/s and lead program reviews, with a demonstrated distinction at a nationally and internationally recognised high quality, high impact research track record. You will demonstrate ability to lead improvement of academic standards, including implementing best practice teaching strategies and dissemination of innovative practices.

To be considered for the role of Senior Lecturer, you will have extensive professional experience and leadership in Early Childhood Education and expertise in teaching at postgraduate level, including successful delivery of programs online. You will have extensive experience in research leadership with the ability to build and develop collaborative research teams, mentor academic staff to deliver high quality outcomes, attract and secure external research funding to sustain research effort and manage funded research projects including complex budgets and reporting requirements.
