This position is responsible for the set-up, implementation and oversight of all aspects of clinical, regulatory, operational, and staff development components for a multi-departmental research project focused on complications of biological therapy for cancer. The project manager will ensure that all deliverables are completed, on time and within budget, including submission of progress reports and regulatory materials as required.
Position contingent upon funding.
A Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years to 5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Research experience, preferably in oncologic research. Management and supervisory experience preferred. Effective problem solving abilities, effective communication and writing skills preferred. Proven ability to manage multiple projects required. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team as well as independently. Applicant must be able to appropriately prioritize, manage time effectively and exercise mature judgment. Knowledge of IRB and human research protection regulations essential. A high level of independence, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are expected.
