The University has worked with employers and professional bodies to develop the Digital Technology and Solutions Degree Apprenticeship, and there is substantial interest in this Degree Apprenticeship from employers in a range of sectors across East Lancashire.
An exciting opportunity has risen for a Lecturer for the Digital Technology and Solutions Degree Apprenticeship.
We are seeking a positive individual who has a passion to work with this flagship programme and develop a reputation of quality with employers in the East Lancashire region. The successful applicant must have experience of teaching in the area of Computing. Areas including Databases, Computer Networking and Computer Security would be highly desirable.
There will also be the opportunity to contribute to the Web Design & Development as well as the Computer Games Development & Enterprise courses.
You must have a flexible approach to learning and teaching, the ability to engage with work-based learning using technology, and a willingness to work effectively with apprentices and employers.
Candidates must possess relevant teaching experience. Furthermore, you must have a proven track record of supporting students at HE level. Educated to at least Masters level, the successful applicant will also hold a teaching qualification or be a member of the HEA and be an excellent networker.
