The Centre for Business in Society (CBiS) is the research hub for the Faculty of Business and Law at Coventry University. Through understanding the impact of organisations' activities, behaviours and policies, our research promotes responsibility and seeks better outcomes for economies, environments and societies (www.coventry.ac.uk/research/areas-of-research/business-in-society/).
By interrogating the impact of organisations and policy-makers, our research team Data, Organisations and Society is addressing the implications of digital and big data for business, society and the economy, in particular the use, privacy and security of data in organisations and society. Exponential growth in data is paving the way for a new business environment. We seek a better understanding of the opportunities provided and the innovation, ethical, social, privacy and security challenges posed to business, individuals and society.
The post holder will be part of a dynamic team, actively contributing to the research strategy and activities of CBiS, particularly in supporting and developing the work of the Centre's research team Data, Organisations and Society. Candidates must have an established track record of creating and managing research projects, attracting funding, delivering REFable outputs and of collaborating across disciplines.
