A newly established role, the Chief Operating Officer is responsible for the leadership, development and effective delivery of all student-facing professional services across the University and is accountable for business process re-engineering of the student journey transforming enrolment; progression & continuation monitoring, intervention & administration; the student pastoral experience; student records; employability preparedness and health & well-being to deliver Vision 2028.
The successful candidate will bring student-facing teams together to create a cohesive, cross-functional group to transform our services and provide a seamless outstanding applicant-student-graduate experience. Working closely with all members of the University Executive Board and particularly with the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education & Experience), the role holder will support and advise the Vice-Chancellor & President in respect of higher education policy, academic registry best practice, and relevant regulatory matters.

You will have experience of delivering complex operational management across multifaceted professional services functions.
