The salary will be paid at Grade 6, £37,412 to £44,015 per annum, inclusive of £3,223 London Allowance per annum.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract until August 2021.
This is a full-time post.
We seek two flexible, collaborative and technically adept Postdoctoral Research Associates to join the FinWork Futures Research Centre at King’s Business School. FinWork Futures (to be formally launched in early 2019). FinWork Futures is an interdisciplinary Research Centre in King’s Business School that draws on a range of social science perspectives to explore how technology is reshaping financial work in various domains. Specific empirical studies will be oriented around Audit and Artificial Intelligence, Analysts and Automation, Cryptocurrencies, Algorithms and Social Trading Platforms. Applicants from all relevant areas of the social sciences are encouraged to apply, including Accounting, Finance, HRM, Information Systems, Organization Studies, Sociology and Politics.
The purpose of this role is to undertake research and impact activities to support the research aims of the Research Centre. The successful candidates will be expected to contribute to research projects on the future of financial work closely linked to the centre that lead to publications in leading international journals. The candidate will also participate in the preparation and application of external funding proposals with other members of FinWork Futures as well as having the opportunity to pursue their own research in the area.
