Applications are invited for appointment as Lecturer in the Department of Psychiatry (Ref.: 492493), to commence as soon as possible on a two- to three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should have a MBBS, MD, or PhD degree, with the expertise in a wide spectrum of topics pertaining to psychology and psychiatry, particularly on the subject of psychosis disorders, including schizophrenia.  Demonstrated dedication to teaching and learning is essential.  An excellent command of spoken and written English, and good organizational and interpersonal skills are expected.  The appointee will contribute to the planning and teaching of courses for the Master of Psychological Medicine (Psychosis Studies), and play a key role in enhancing the education, research, clinical service, and public awareness in the field of psychosis. He/She will work closely with a team of colleagues devoted to disseminating knowledge and cultivating in students a critical perspective with which to study, understand, and gain insights about this complex subject.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.  The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
