An opportunity has arisen within the School of Community Health and Midwifery for a Lecturer to join our highly committed Health and Social Care team. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic and visionary, keen to shape education and influence the student experience in a positive manner.
Applicants must be educated to graduate level in a subject related to the contemporary health & social care agenda. A sound understanding, and knowledge of the current health and social care agenda is essential as well as recent teaching, learning and assessment experience (higher or further education preferred). You will be committed to the success of your students and be able to show that you can effectively support learning and teaching in both the classroom and placement areas. A flexible, innovative approach to teaching, learning and assessment as well as within the changing educational environment is essential and a teaching qualification or experience in higher education would be an advantage.
The successful applicant will assist in the development and delivery of the curricula including the Foundation Degree programmes and other relevant studies. There will be an expectation that the successful candidates will lead academic modules and teach across UCLan's campuses on a range of courses.
