RESEARCH ASSOCIATE, Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL)-North America, to develop public goods and resources that will help researchers conduct impact evaluations, build researcher capacity through trainings, and support the launch of new evaluations of social programs. Will draw lessons from the implementation and analysis of evaluations and coordinate with the Research Group to translate these lessons into generalizable best practices, protocols, training materials or online resources to benefit the wider research community. Will also have the opportunity to support multiple impact evaluations through Short-Term Research Management (STReaM) and to support Global Research Staff Training, which is designed for research staff working on randomized evaluations.

REQUIRED: a bachelor’s degree that includes significant training in economics and statistics or quantitative methods of program evaluation; and two years of experience involving research, social policy or data analysis (which may include relevant experience gained through internships, part-time work, research, or teaching assistantships).
