The Student Support and Wellbeing team are seeking a Student Wellbeing Co-ordinator to help deliver the University strategic aim of creating a vibrant student experience that promotes wellbeing and builds a sense of belonging and commitment.

You will develop, coordinate, support and oversee the delivery of a range of activities and projects that promote the wellbeing and healthy lifestyles of all students, working closely with the Students’ Union (MDXSU) and professional and academic colleagues. This includes organising wellbeing events, contributing to the design and delivery of ongoing wellbeing initiatives, supporting students on a one-to-one basis who have generic wellbeing concerns, creating and promoting online resources, liaising with external bodies, participating in projects to improve student retention and providing information, training and support materials.

You will have experience of providing support for students and organising or co-ordinating events plus excellent communication and negotiating skills. You will be familiar with the key issues impacting student wellbeing in universities. You will be able to think and act creatively whilst enjoying working in a team that sets high standards but provides a friendly and supportive environment.
