We are looking for an enthusiastic Internal Communications Manager to join the Communications and External Affairs (CEA) team. Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications, you will play a key role in developing and implementing our internal communications strategy and action plans to help enhance the staff experience, encourage and foster staff pride and engagement, and influence behavioural change.

Role Description

Cranfield is a specialist postgraduate university that is a global leader for education and research in technology and management.

The Professional Service Unit, Communication and External Affairs takes the lead on brand marketing, content and publications; media relations; social media; internal communications; public and Government affairs; events and digital (including web), working closely with the international partnerships and student recruitment team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Internal Communications Manager to join this team. Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications in the Communications and External Affairs (CEA) team, you will play a key role in developing and implementing our internal communications strategy and action plans to help enhance the staff experience, encourage and foster staff pride and engagement, and influence behavioural change.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and write copy, source stories and create content for specific channels, including the intranet and monthly staff eBulletin, in line with our communications principles of openness and transparency.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will possess strong writing, content creation and influencing skills and be able to prioritise a demanding workload to meet deadlines.
