The Role

The Technical Officer is expected to contribute to the core activities of the Biological Sciences (City) technical team in support of both Vocational Education and Higher Education teaching and learning programs.

Your Responsibilities

The position will be responsible for the preparation and set-up of practical class material, maintaining and operating laboratory instrumentation, maintaining laboratory and supporting facilities and providing technical support to staff and students.

Skills & Experience Required

You will have proven relevant microbiology, molecular biology and/or biotechnology laboratory experience and proven competence in biological laboratory techniques. You will have demonstrated familiarity with the legal requirements of a biological science teaching laboratory as well as a passion to provide high quality customer service.
