FULL STACK SOFTWARE ENGINEER-MASTER’S, edX, to join the team building the world's leading learning destination site and platform so that everyone around the world has the opportunity and access to education. Will design, develop, deploy, and support scalable software systems and build and maintain operationally viable solutions throughout its life cycle; support the open source community; and commit to own code and support the customer facing environment. The position is ideal for someone seeking a highly visible engineering role. Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  at least five years’ related experience; real-world experience with web service development frameworks like Django; ability to code front to back with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python or other server-based programming language; demonstrated skill building service-oriented architectures; test driven development experience; and experience working in an agile development environment.  Preferred qualifications include experience contributing to or consuming open source frameworks; experience with Bootstrap, RequireJS, or Backbone; a B.S. in computer science or related field of study; and familiarity with standards-compliant front-end development and accessibility best practices.  Job #16756-P
