We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Graphics who will work with us to shape and enhance the digital content of the three graphics awards. You will work within a team of seven full-time academic staff who support the three awards under a single Course Leader. 

The successful candidate will have a background in working with technology within a commercial context and a strong understanding of the potential for emerging technologies to influence graphic design practices and to shape future careers in design. You will have professional experience of working in at least one of the following: UX, app design, motion graphics, creative coding, interactive design and / or Augmented and Virtual Reality and a broad knowledge of digital design.

You will have experience of working with professional designers and an educational background rooted in design. You will be an experienced teacher who is able to demonstrate an inclusive and energetic approach to engaging design students with the technical aspects of digital design technologies and supporting them to innovate in their design practice.

The post holder will be proactive and innovative in their approach to the role with strong team working skills, communication and organisational skills and a commitment to enhancing the student experience.
