About the Job
The School of Natural and Built Environments (NBE) is a multi-disciplinary School that focuses on the unique relationships and synergies between natural and built environments, with a particular interest in teaching and research to support improved environmental and socio-economic sustainability for the future.
As Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in sourcing new business, while liaising with existing clients to refine and further develop current projects, for commercial testing activities in the areas of construction materials and building structures, geotechnical engineering and water engineering undertaken by the Specialised Testing and Research Unit (SMAG) and the Australia Flow Management Group (AFMG) in the School.
Skills and Experience
You will have tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or significant equivalent skills and experience paired with a strong commercial acumen and experience generating new business. Your excellent track record in developing and delivering strategies to create business growth, ability to identify customer needs and strong influencing and negotiation skills will be vital to your success in the role.
