The role is a voluntary post, to assist in ensuring the provision and delivery of an effective system of pastoral care and welfare for students resident on the Aston campus. If you are interested in this role and have over 12 months until your submission deadline (PhDs), please apply.

The  application submission deadline is Sunday the 18th of November. Interviews are to be held the week of the 26th of November, provisionally. Admission to the post will begin from approximately the beginning of December depending on sufficient training and shadow duties performed.

Applicants must have a valid contract of studentship for the duration of their appointment as Residence Tutor.  Termination of the studentship, at any time, will involve automatic termination of the appointment of Residence Tutor, and the occupation of any University accommodation specifically allocated for this purpose would cease.

The post is residential and the successful applicant will be provided with substantially discounted accommodation in Aston Student Village. The monthly rent will be £86.66 (£20 a week) inclusive of all utility bills.
