We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our busy but friendly team, to facilitate and support increasing numbers of students into placements overseas, particularly in Europe. The focus will be to increase collaboration with new employers as well as existing ones. Based in the International Projects Team, you will have responsibility for sourcing international employers to recruit Aston placement students, marketing international placements to students and matching students to employers to facilitate recruitment outcomes. You will also be involved ocassionally in preparing students to be placement ready through caseload management, coaching, recruitment and selection technique sessions and skills workshops.

An important part of this role is to work closely with other teams that support placements, employer engagement and internationalisation to support the design and implementation of an integrated, responsive and flexible activity programme that will support students and international employers before and during placement.

Educated to A level or equivalent, and ideally fluent in Spanish or German language, you will need to enjoy working under pressure and achieving targets. This is a hands-on role that requires an enthusiastic and innovative individual. You must be able to think on your feet, work independently but also as part of a team with ability to enthuse and inspire students.
