We are seeking a highly motivated individual to provide administrative support to the AARM (Aston Academy for Research into Management) team, primarily the Research Support Officer. The post holder will be responsible for data collection and maintenance of all research activity within the School, financial account record keeping, editing webpages, and organising research related events. You will act as Secretary to the ABS Research Committee and ABS Research Ethics Committee and will also be expected to minute all research related meetings. You will support the ABS impact managers in developing impact case studies, arranging meetings and events, and collecting evidence from external parties.

You will be educated to A level standard with Grade C or above in English and Maths at GCSE (or equivalent).  You will have substantial administrative experience gained ideally in a Higher Education Institution or within a research environment and have excellent IT (competent in Microsoft Office), communication and organisational skills.  You are professional, detail-oriented and proactive, and have the ability to communicate effectively to our staff and external stakeholders.
