The School of Vocational Business Education (VBE) offers globally oriented, applied training and education, from Certificate to Associate Degree level, nationally and internationally (Indonesia and China) to approximately 4000 students.

The Financial and Legal Services Industry Group programs offer domestic and international students the opportunity to work on real and authentic industry based projects that are supported and offered by industry partners including Global Work Integrated Learning Projects through partnerships in USA and delivering outstanding 'Work Ready' outcomes for graduates.

The Role & Experience Required

The School is currently inviting expressions of interest for sessional teachers to join its Financial Services programs for Semester 1, 2019. Subject expertise is required in the fields of:

  • Financial planning
  • Superannuation
  • Managed Investments
  • Securities
  • Life/General Insurance
  • Budgets/Cashflow
  • Risk

To be successful you must have:

TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor; or

TAE40110 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus the following units:

  • TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A and
  • TAEASS502 or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B as a minimum qualification.

Appointment is subject to passing a Working with Children Check

A Bachelor degree or postgraduate qualification in the relevant program discipline is highly regarded. Applications should outline your relevant industry experience.

Please note that Semester 1 classes begin from 11 February 2019 and successful applicants must be available to start prior to this date.
