Overview

The Library Services Centre provides a range of specialist information services that enable the students and staff of Edith Cowan University to achieve their teaching, learning, and research goals.  Within the context of a changing academic environment, these services include management and provision of information resources in various formats, specialist information support to research and teaching staff, information literacy programs, and management of vibrant library spaces.  

This is an opportunity to join the Library team as we work to grow and improve our services and programs, finding new ways to enhance and develop the skills our students will need to thrive in their careers and contribute to their communities. The position would suit someone who has an innovative, flexible approach and who can contribute to a changing environment.

The Role

Reporting to the Associate University Librarian, Library Experience, Digital Communications Coordinator will contribute to the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of internal and external communication strategies that promote the Library’s services and resources to diverse customer groups in varied locations.

Key criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant field and recent experience in coordinating communication plans including for online and social media strategies
  • Strong customer focus and ability to understand customer needs and expectations
  • Superb communication skills

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry and Personal Excellence.

Benefits & Remuneration

This full time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $78,578 - $84,902 plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
