More than 4,400 students are currently undertaking a higher degree by research at UQ under the support and guidance of the UQ Graduate School. The Graduate School has academic responsibility for managing admissions, providing research scholarships, supporting students during their candidature, and facilitating the examination of theses. The Graduate School coordinates year-round skills training, supports infrastructure and research facilities, and provides opportunities to accelerate career development for HDR candidates.

The role

The Enquiries Officer is a member of the team who is responsible for the provision of exceptional customer and administrative services for stakeholders of the UQ Graduate School and is the central point of contact for all enquiries, via a client management system, telephone or in person. This role also provides some general administration support for the Graduate School, including general office logistics.

The person

Applicants should possess a Diploma level qualification and/or relevant experience in a customer service focused role(s). Applicants' exceptional customer service skills will have been developed via experience in a customer service or enquiry role; ideally with exposure to telephone, front counter and email enquiries. Adaptability and high level interpersonal and communication skills are essential, and applicants will also be highly computer literate and have strong time management and prioritisation skills.

Remuneration

This is a full-time, continuing appointment at HEW Level 4. The remuneration package will be in the range $59,429.60 - $63,305.88 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $69,532.63 - $74,067.88 p.a.).
