Lead a unit which prides itself on offering a holistic structured approach to learning programs which includes lectures and tutorial programs, patient and theme-based learning, bedside skills and ‘Observe Structural Clinical Exams’ (OSCE) in a supportive learning environment.
Your record of outstanding achievement in your profession through clinical teaching and research or clinical engagement will enable you to provide leadership in the coordination and implementation of the Monash medical course curriculum including the development, delivery and evaluation of clinical teaching at clinical sites attached to SCS as well as play a key role in the strategic development of units and courses.
Your role will encompass the coordination of the organisation of student activities in liaison with SCS academic departments and Monash Health clinical units as well as the provision of pastoral care and support for undergraduate medical students which will be a key component of the role and will include the monitoring of student progress.
Through your strong leadership in professional scholarship and/or practice and in engagement with external stakeholders and professional bodies you will have a high-level of involvement in professional activities at a national level and/or a network of industry connections and strategic alliances.
This role is a part-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
