Hours: 12.5 hours a week (0.35 FTE)
Starting Salary: £13,070 pro rata (based on a full time rate of £37,345 per annum)
Annual Leave: 10.5 days pro rata (based on a full time entitlement of 35 days per annum)
St Mary’s University are looking to appoint a Lecturer in Drama to work with our team in supporting the performance work across the Drama programmes.
Drama St Mary's aims to prepare its graduates for the rigour of the Theatre profession. Our undergraduate programmes currently offer students the opportunity to train as actors through our specialised BA Acting pathway
We are seeking a world class Acting Tutor with industry experience, to teach across our undergraduate and post-graduate Drama programmes, and to contribute to their on-going development and management. The successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom practitioner, have a real understanding of student centered learning as well as specialist knowledge in a combination of the following areas:
- Acting for TV, Film and Radio.
- TV and Film production.
- Recording, editing and post-production.
- Radio Movement and Voice
- Employment in the Theatre, TV and Film industries.
