The Interview Coordinator will coordinate the rollout, execution, and evaluation of the Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) process as part of the School of Medicine’s M.D. applicant selection process. The Coordinator will be responsible for creating materials and presentations on MMI for training and operations. The Coordinator will also conduct an analysis and evaluate the efficiency and accuracy of MMI after the MMI cycle is completed. Ultimately, this position will ensure 400+ applicants invited to interview are handled as ethically, efficiently, and objectively as possible during the interview cycle. Duties and responsibilities are as follows, but are not limited to:
- Recruit MMI raters and interviewers. Create, conduct, and update MMI training presentations for faculty, students, staff, and community raters.
- Develop the annual MMI calendar and the event schedule for individual MMI days. Coordinate all activities on MMI day.
- Adapt external MMI scenarios, operations guides, and systems for use at Stanford School of Medicine given its technology and resources. Create School of Medicine-specific guidelines and materials.
- Conduct business analysis of roles and resources needed for MMI; create role descriptions and project plans specific to existing School of Medicine staff.
- Design, update, and maintain forms used for interview ratings before and after admission season.
- Evaluate and review efficiency and accuracy of MMI after MMI cycles complete; prepare reports and update guidelines, trainings, and materials based on results. Assist in the identification, development, and editing of next year’s MMI scenarios.
- Update the MD Admissions Office operations manual and rater/reviewer manual to accommodate updates to the MMI process. Conduct periodic reviews with University stakeholders and modify based on input.

- Bachelor’s degree in education or social/behavioral sciences and 3-5 years of program/project coordination experience.
- Experience developing training materials and executing programs involving new processes and technology among diverse teams.
- Knowledge of project planning techniques; demonstrated ability to analyze, develop, and roll-out new projects.
- Experience creating and maintaining training materials, including presentations, manuals, and web-based content.
- Familiarity with conducting analyses, designing reports, and if needed, implementing the reports in web-based applications.
- Ability to work with online applications and if needed, design, deploy, and maintain content in a web-based application.
- Knowledge of general reporting principals and statistical analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to work in teams.
- Experience in technical writing.
- Highly detail-oriented.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
Bachelor's degree and 2 years relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
