Faculty of Science
The Faculty of Science unites the disciplines of agriculture and animals, biological sciences, chemistry, earth sciences, food sciences, geography, marine science, mathematics and physics, planning, the environment and veterinary science.
With strong links between the enabling and applied sciences, UQ researchers and graduates are working on a wide range of ground breaking projects from the molecular characterisation of drug resistant bacteria that affect piglets through to finding better treatments for illness and rehabilitation of the environment.
The units within the Faculty of Science are internationally recognised and their teaching and research successes create a stimulating environment within which the Faculty staff work.
The position supports research and contract management in the Faculty of Science. The role works in a team with the Research Partnerships Managers (RPM) reporting to the Associate Dean Research (ADR). The position is responsible for the efficient and effective management of the Science Contracts database and reporting mechanisms and liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
Applicants should have experience working in a complex organisation and well developed skills in developing networks. The person will have database skills and be able to use data to drive business improvements. Working within a small team, the person should be organised, methodical and have a commitment to providing high level support for the team. Experience working with contracts would be highly regarded.

This is a full-time, continuing, broadbanded appointment at HEW Level 5 or 6.
For HEW 5, the remuneration package will be in the range $66,347-74,098 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $77,626- $86,695 p.a.).
For HEW 6, the remuneration package will be in the range $75,957- $81,714 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $88,869 - $91,974 p.a.).
