PROGRAM COORDINATOR, School of Science-MIT Quest for Intelligence, to drive multidisciplinary teams to manage and execute the complex initiatives and activities of this new entity across the Institute. Will help support all managing efforts of the Quest and the MIT-IBM AI Lab; lead their UROP programs; provide guidance to program members and prospective members; manage major program milestones; support fund-raising and budget coordination; and manage interactions with collaborators in academia, government, and industry.  Will also plan major events for educational and fund-raising activities of the Quest across the Institute and beyond. A substantial part of this position also involves supporting the activities of the MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  five years’ related project management experience; excellent interpersonal, relationship management, and client service skills that promote collaboration/cooperation; exceptional organizational, time- and project-management ,and oral and written communication skills; self-motivation; attention to detail; experience working in a multi-stakeholder/consortium environment with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures; aptitude for analysis and working with data; good judgment, tact, and discretion with confidential information; and proficiency with MS Office and ability and willingness to learn new programs. Must be able to consolidate feedback from multiple sources into a cohesive single document and create deliverable instructions in a clear and concise manner; budget activities and events; work independently and within a dynamic and closely-knit team; think strategically; set priorities, coordinate multiple tasks, and meet competing deadlines; take ownership for work, follow up on action items, and deliver high quality results while meeting deadlines; and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Job 16745-N
