PLEASE NOTE:  This is a 40-hour seasonal appointment.

  • Receive deliveries from a variety of vendors - checking in items to ensure accuracy. Maintain quality control of food safety and sanitation standards, recording temperatures in HACCP log. Prompt stocking of items in correct locations. Retrieval of items for cooks, Chef Assistants and Chefs as requested. General cleaning of all food storage areas, coolers, dock area, hallways within dining area. Maintain neat and clean work area. Other duties as assigned by Assistant Manager, Operations Manager, Chef Assistants, Chef, or General Manager.
  • Maintain clean kitchen by removing trash, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning equipment, filtering fryers, cleaning hood vents and drains, and washing dishes, pots, pans. Assist and work with other kitchen cleaners and staff performing general cleaning of kitchen areas and maintain a neat and clean work environment following HACCP standards and health codes. 

Required Qualifications*

Must demonstrate communication skills, both written and verbal; must be able to follow directions; must be able to move/position heavy boxes and containers (75 lbs); must be able to perform basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division; experience with First In, First Out stocking systems preferred. Previous experience in a fast paced kitchen environment preferred. Must have good customer service skills - this position will interact with varied building residents. Knowledge of the methods and equipment used in the receipt, storage, and distribution of stock is necessary. Knowledge of the methods and equipment used in kitchen cleaning is necessary.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday - 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
