We are seeking to appoint a Senior Research Associate in chronobiology / neuroendocrinology funded by BBSRC. The primary objective is to investigate the angiogenic and neuroendocrine mechanisms underlying the seasonal adaptation to a changing environment.
You should have a PhD or equivalent in Neuroendocrinology, Chronobiology, Angiogenesis, or Physiology and possess outstanding experimental and laboratory skills relevant to the role, as well as demonstrable success in in vivo work, tissue culture and data management. Practical experience in the use of research methodologies and techniques in molecular biology are essential.
This project will be undertaken in close collaboration with the Division of Cancer and Stem Cells, School of Medicine, University of Nottingham, and the School of Biological Sciences, University of Aberdeen. The research will be carried out primarily at the Laboratories for Neuroscience and Endocrinology, Dorothy Hodgkin Building, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Bristol.
