About the team: As part of UWA’s Office of Strategy, Planning and Performance, you will join the Risk and Legal team. This team aims to develop systems, processes and tools to assist in engaging with, educating and empowering staff to manage operational matters efficiently without regular advice so the team’s resources can be directed towards areas of highest strategic value. The Risk and Legal team also provides key strategic risk inputs into the University's planning processes.
About the opportunity:
This position is an integral part of a busy team, providing essential office support. Reporting to the Office Coordinator for Risk and Legal, you will provide high level paralegal support to the team and take a responsible role in the development and maintenance of knowledge management tools, inter-organisational communications and training. You have the opportunity to be involved in managing legal workflows, templates, reporting, record keeping, communication, supporting the processing of Freedom of Information Act applications, as well as developing self-help tools and preparing all training materials.

While those with or working towards a tertiary qualification are encouraged to apply, it’s not considered a mandatory requirement. You will however have some relevant administrative experience in a Legal practice setting, with highly developed problem solving and time management skills and demonstrate an ability to meet deadlines, work independently, show initiative and work productively as part of a team.
