The role

The successful appointee to this position will engage in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, postgraduate supervision, and further development of the School’s Civil Engineering programs.  In addition, the role will require the individual to undertake research, administrative and other activities associated with the School and its Structural Engineering discipline.

The person

The person applying for this position will be highly motivated and able to demonstrate high level teaching skills and expert knowledge in structural engineering Structural Engineering or an equivalent discipline such as Materials Engineering; Building Technology; Structural Health Monitoring/Reliability; Computational Design/Mechanics; Architectural Engineering; or, Structural Fire Safety.  With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the successful individual will be able to evidence their ability to work collaboratively and engage with students, staff and external stakeholders.

This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.

This is a full-time continuing appointment at Academic Level B or C. 

The remuneration for Academic Level B will be in the range $92,142 - $109,419 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be $107,807 - $128,020 p.a.).

The remuneration for Academic Level C will be in the range $112,874 - $130,150 p.a. plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be $132,063 - $152,276 p.a.)
