The Bristol Genomics Facility in the Faculty of Life Sciences at the University of Bristol invites applications for a research associate position. This exciting opportunity will involve working as part of the Bristol Genomics Facility team, providing bioinformatics services both internally at Bristol University and for external institutions.
The successful applicant will undertake bioinformatic analyses on data primarily generated by the Bristol Genomics Facility using next generation sequencing and microarray technologies for genomics and transcriptomics research.

The ideal candidate will have a BSc or MSc in a relevant field plus a PhD or equivalent work experience including bioinformatic approaches to solve biological problems.
